K&N QUALITY OIL FILTER & MAGNETIC OIL DRAIN PLUG
This powerful magnetic sump/oil drain plug will trap small metal filings & metallic "Micro debris" on its surface which would normally be held in suspension in the bikes engine oil increasing engine and gearbox component wear.
WHAT IS A MICRON?
A Micron is one thousandth of a millimeter. Fine sand can be as small as 62 microns.
Most good oil filters will not filter out Micronic particles in the 90 to 95 micron range and below.
Our sump plugs will pick up any Metallic "Micro” particles that might otherwise be re-circulated back into the lubrication system.
These sump plugs are all steel construction and will not strip threads or "round off" like alloy offerings.
An excellent early warning indicator to the condition of your bikes engine. Simply wipe clean and refit at every oil change.
NOTE! Some very early Triumphs were fitted with a 22mm drain plug:
Choose 22mm from the DROPBOX if you require 22mm or you will receive the regular size by default.
